We hope you are all enjoying the new look NZHistory.net
<http://www.nzhistory.net.nz/> and are making the most of what it has
to offer.

In the Classroom <http://www.nzhistory.net.nz/the_history_classroom>
this week you will find material to support a study of Race Relations
Day
<http://www.nzhistory.net.nz/classroom/historic-events-activities/race-r
elations-day-classroom-activities> (March 21). We have also just
finished a feature looking at cricket in New Zealand
<http://www.nzhistory.net.nz/culture/new-zealand-cricket/cricket-in-new-
zealand> which we put together to tap into the current interest in the
game in the wake of the Chappell-Hadlee series and the World Cup of
Cricket. This is an ideal opportunity to consider the role of sport in
shaping our sense of identity. You can find activities for both of these
events in the Classroom.

The Today in History section on our homepage continues to attract a lot
of attention and remains a quick and easy way of injecting some New
Zealand history into your classroom each day.

There is something for everyone at NZHistory.net.nz. If you haven't had
a good browse for a while we hope you can find the time soon to do so.

As always we welcome feedback.
